Are you interested in learning more about becoming an Academic Rep?
Academic Reps enable student’s views to be included in the decisions made about courses at Edge Hill University and promote the initiative of partnership between both staff and students. Academic Reps give students a voice within the university and provide them with a sense of ownership over their experience due to their power to influence change.
Academic Reps gather feedback from all students in your cohort and ensure that the student perspective is considered in decisions made relating to your course.
The only commitments of the role are to attend initial or returners training, gather feedback and pass it on to staff during your Student Staff Consultative Forum (SSCF) (once per semester) as well as being proactive in liaising with the relevant Union or University staff to make change happen where identified by students.
