Yes, we run the SU Bar and Venue club on campus, and we don’t know if you’ve already heard, but we run the SUBWAY on campus…....but we are SO much more than that!

You might be ready to throw yourself in to activities including sports, societies, crafternoons, skills workshops, clothes sales and guide dog-petting (believe us, it's a popular one!), or you may prefer to just use us for academic support or advice from our Advice superduo Esther and Phil, or your designated Course Rep - whatever you're looking for, we hope that we can offer you something you need, and if not, tell us!
We are all about you!
In an average month we’re dealing with 70 students at any one time over course issues, housing, landlords, finance, course problems, exam failures, home sickness, depression… and everything in between! So PLEASE come to see our amazing advice team if you’re struggling – YOU ARE NOT ALONE (we also make an amazing cuppa!) We also have a great network of Course Reps, who are there to make sure everyone on every course is happy - so if you have ANY quibbles there are lots of ways you can get support from us!
There’s literally something for everyone, and if your interest is REALLY niche (how weird can it get?!), our activities team is here to help you set up your own society and sort out all the complicated money stuff.
We sit on a number of university committees to ensure that every decision by the university is made with your wants and needs in mind. That’s why we want you to get involved with us in every way possible – tell us your ideas, your issues, vote for the students you want to represent you, or even stand to be a Course Rep role or Sabbatical Officer position yourself and campaign for change – the power to change is in your hands!
We're here to make your time at Edge Hill the best it can be, so we want to fill it with things that are relevant and of interest to YOU.
Our team has put together a mind-bogglingly extraordinary calendar of events over the past year as part of our ‘Give it a Go’ programme – a chance to take part in taster sessions, workshops, trips and activities… from puppy petting and crafternoons, to celeb blogging masterclasses and Ikea coach trips... not to mention the societies and sports tasters and student development opportunities.
Every pound you spend in our outlets (our bar, club, Subway, our shop) goes back into subsidising amazing things for you like the advice service and activities setup, so we NEED you to shop with us, eat with us, drink with us, and party with us! Do it all in the knowledge that you're helping to make Edge Hill better!!
