From everyone at Edge Hill Students’ Union, a huge congratulations on receiving an offer and securing your place at Edge Hill University!

 

We are delighted to announce that, as of Tuesday 10 August, 9am, the first wave of our Welcome Week tickets will be available for students to purchase.

 

In the first wave of tickets, Edge Hill students will be able to choose between three different tiers of Welcome Week wristbands: the Silver wristband, Gold wristband, and Black wristband. Wristbands will give students access to all evening events taking place in Edge Hill SU Bar and Venue between 25 September – 03 October, in addition to brand new EHSU offers cards and deals throughout term one.

 

Demand and enquiries for Welcome Week events has been high, therefore all new students are encouraged to purchase their Welcome Week wristbands early in order to avoid disappointment.

 

Speaking about new students arriving on Edge Hill campus and the release of Welcome Week tickets, Faculty of Arts and Sciences Student Engagement Officer, Rhiannon Muise, said: ‘Congratulations on securing your place at Edge Hill University! From recently graduating in 2021 I can honestly say university is definitely a place that allows you to grow as person, meet likeminded people and most importantly embrace everything that comes your way.’

 

‘Attend events at the Students Union but take your time to settle in. You’re in a new place with new people it will be a lot to get used to. But most importantly have the best time ever!’

 

Details regarding our programme of daytime events and activities, including Edge Hill Students’ Union’s Welcome Fair, will be shared in early September.

 

Edge Hill Students’ Union is the only official ticket-seller of Edge Hill University’s official Welcome Week. All official tickets for Edge Hill University’s Welcome Week will be sold via the Students’ Union’s Eventbrite page.

No Students Left Behind: Welcome Week 2.0

 

For EHSU Welcome Week 2021, we are expecting high demand for tickets as a result of a year of COVID-19 restrictions. We will therefore be hosting a second week of activities for second and third years and any other student who will not be able to attend campus before teaching begins.

 

Welcome Week 2.0 will take place between Monday 04 October and Sunday 10 October and will be comprised of daytime activities and evening events.

 

More information regarding Welcome Week 2.0 will be released in September.
