We have been made aware of an event currently being advertised by an organisation which refers to itself as 'Your University Guide.' 

A Facebook page called ‘Edge Hill Freshers 2017-2018’ has been created and is promoting an event called ‘Edge Hill Student’s Puppy Petting Day’ which is allegedly due to take place on 24^th September.

Anyone who visits the ‘Your University Guide’ webpage or expresses an interest in the aforementioned event is directed to an online form which asks you to enter personal information including your name, email address and telephone number.

The organisation, the Facebook page and the event are NOT endorsed by Edge Hill University or Edge Hill Students’ Union.

You are strongly urged not to engage with any activities or communications involving this group. Please do not supply them with any personal information. Any genuine University and Students’ Union events will be promoted through our official channels.
