Staff Guidance

There is an expectation that all programme teams will arrange regular, informal Student Staff Consultative Forums (SSCFs), or similar, throughout the year.

These are meetings between Feedback Reps and Academic Staff that enables a discussion about programme-related matters in an informal setting. Feedback Reps can raise or flag concerns at informal catch ups that need to be taken to a higher level. If matters remain unresolved, then Reps are encouraged to attend Programme Boards and/or Faculty Boards to escalate feedback and amplify their student voice further.

Meetings should take place 1-2 times per term and should be no longer than 1 hour.

Reps should receive invites at least two weeks in advance by Admin/Academic Staff teams. If you do not have an up-to-date list of reps, this can be requested by contacting suengagement@edgehill.ac.uk

The Student’s Union have provided an SSCF meeting template which can be used during meetings. Please complete and return any SSCF meeting minutes to our drop box which can be found below.
