Mission:

''The mission of our International Student Society is to create a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates cultural diversity, fosters cross-cultural understanding, and supports the well-being of international students before, during and after their academic journey at  Hill University.''

 

Goals:

  • Cultural Exchange: To promote intercultural exchange and appreciation by organizing events and activities that showcase the diversity of our members' cultures and traditions.
  • Support and Orientation: To provide a support network for international students before, during and after course of study, including assistance with academic, social, and practical matters as they adapt to their new environment.
  • Cultural Awareness: To raise awareness and understanding of various cultures and national backgrounds within the university community, promoting tolerance and inclusion.
  • Professional Development: To offer opportunities for personal and professional growth through workshops, seminars, career supports and networking events.
  • Social Integration: To organize social gatherings and events that encourage interaction and friendship among international, home students and engagement with wider communities.
  • Advocacy: To represent the interests and concerns of international students at the university and higher education, collaborating with the university authorities and beyond to advocate issues and challenges faced by students."
