Edge Hill Students’ Union is proud to welcome a new batch of part time officers to the Student Engagement Officer team. 

 

Joining our full time Faculty of Arts & Sciences Officer Rhiannon Muise are new part time Faculty of Education Officers Jessica Prior, Megan Slater and Amy Fox, and part time Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine Officer Sean Domingo.

 

Our four new part time officers join the team after the full time positions were left vacant earlier this year.

 

Jessica, Megan, Amy and Sean are employed by Edge Hill Students’ Union to represent their faculties and campaign on issues that affect students during the remainder of the 2021-2022 academic year.

 

Jessica Prior, part time Faculty of Education Officer, said: "I want to improve resources within my department to be more learning-needs friendly for all students. If anyone has anything within the Faculty of Education they feel could be improved, I want people to know they can approach me for help."

 

Amy Fox, part time Faculty of Education Officer, said: I want to ensure that students feel like they are being supported and also know where to find it.

 

I am so excited about my new role and I can’t wait to get stuck in with campaigning!”

 

Sean Domingo, newly-appointed part time Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine Officer, will also work with the Students' Union on issues affected Manchester Campus students. He said: "I am based at the St. James' campus in Manchester and I will focus on working with my fellow Manchester students to develop a sense of community and belonging to Edge Hill University something as a student I currently feel is lacking."

 

Rhiannon Muise, full time Faculty of Arts & Sciences Officer, welcomed her new colleagues to the team. She said: “I’m really looking forward to work alongside Sean, Megan, Amy and Jessica. I can’t wait to get to know them more, see their insights and what campaigns they want to bring to EHSU. Plus, it will be nice to see some more friendly faces around the campus!”
