About Me

Hi, I'm Alicia (She/Her) and I'm your 2026-2027 President for the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine.

 

My journey at Edge Hill University began with the intensive Fastrack summer course, this course showed me that everyone's journey into higher education is unique and prepared me to go on and complete my degree in Health and Social Wellbeing.

 

I am passionate about supporting and amplifying the voices of students who feel underrepresented. I am committed to ensuring that every student within the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine feels a genuine sense of belonging, both within the faculty and the wider Edge Hill community.

 

Throughout this year, I will work to create meaningful change by listening to and acting on the feedback you provide. Whether that means improving your academic experience or strengthening our student community, I want to ensure your voice is heard, supported and valued.

 

I am excited to work with the students that make our faculty special. I am always open to listen and engage with you, so please feel free to come and chat with me.
